For You

by Jacob Makola   Oct 6, 2007

From the primordial times
Darkness hovered over the surface of the deep turning the tight
Telling the time for the star to be born
Black, human, strong but simple

The son of man is the sun
He is the energy
The smile
The mood
The melody in the song

He is not weak
He loves
He is not desperate
He is human
That’s because he cares

So is his love for life
Such is the reason to be
The thought behind every action
A Goddess, giver of life
Mother of nations

The tight that stirred up the consciousness that came aware of the self
Out of the caves of its bounty it desired to serve
The queen who lives in his mind
The guardian angle
Governor of feelings and emotions
The beauty that has neither beginning nor end

Who am I to dispute the fact that nature gives a chance to everyone?
To learn and evolve
To become better souls and resolve
Issues in our minds lying dormant
Discriminating and taking others as doormats

On the stage he does not seem to be the best actor
There are those that put the best illusive acts
Indulgence in sense gratification and flatter
Only longing to taste the water from her calabash

Before long the earth will be filled with flies
For the continuation of the injection of lies
The raping of the mind
The enemy of mankind
