Giving In

I lay it down all on the line, stating the feelings I have for you are intimate and divine.

I take a chance by telling you how I feel, making sure what I have said you know is the truth you know it is real.

I tell you this steping out taking a huge risk, telling you I love you and then having to listen to you say I'm the last on your list.

I am sick of this trying to get close to the one I have feelings for and, have them cut off any hope just slamming shut the door.

Am I being too nice do I share to much care? I can't change myself I don't even dare.

I'm tired of getting all these shallow girls; You were the one for me the one that truly brightened up my world.

You led me on so far I thought we shared affection, apparently not it was a hidden detection.
