An Illusion

I knocked on your door but you weren't there
you said you were and that was a swear
i stood there for a second - hoping you would come out
but for once it all became a doubt
a single tear dropped down my cheek
noticing my heart began to leak
a drop of love?
a drop of pain?
or is my heart just insane?
i thought you loved me
i thought you cared
but now i realized you were never there

    Something we all sadly have to experience at least once. The last line sums up everything real nice.

    But in the long run, who wants to be with someone who doesnt want to be with you? That's how I looked at it after the 'love of my life' vanished.
