Silence screams

by habitualthinker   Oct 9, 2007

Pleading to you with all my heart,
turning your shoulder, leaving me dark.
silence is the steel, you drive deep inside.
allied forever, we can never be untied.

yet you forget,
all that has been,
all that could be,
all to the tune of the "nth" degree

leaving me alone in a broken heap,
not a word from my friend, not a single peep.
if you cared, you would speak.
silence screams, giving cause to weep.
