The Daisy

She picks up a daisy
petals fall one by one
she`ll find the answers
when the flower is done

"he loves me
he loves me not
he told me once
but i forgot

please, please daisy
i beg of you
will my dreams
really come true?"

so far he loves her
butterflies flutter inside
she`s starting to forget
all those tears she cried

he loves her not..
pluck it off quick
she can`t bare the thought
it just makes her sick

yes he loves you
the weight is all gone
it`s just like they said
he`s loved you for so long

oh wait a second!
her worlds crashing down
one petal left
the flower falls to the ground

he loves her not
it`s so sad to say
tears fall from her eyes
at least not today...

she looks around the garden
there are no flowers left
she falls to the ground
she falls and she wept.

when the garden grows back
she`ll give it another shot
but since their all gone
he loves her... not.
