SNOW

by Kittens Poems   Oct 12, 2007

SNOW

Spring turns to summer
As summer turns to fall
Fall turns to winter
In no time at all

The leaves turn to pretty color
The color turns to brown
The grass turns to white
As the snow steadily falls down

The kids come out dressed
All warm and so snug
With their hats and their mittens
With their tongues sticking out

They build their snow forts
Snowmen and snow pies
They slide down the hill
With a shriek and a cry

Their cheeks getting so rosy
Their hands are like ice
Their feet are getting cold
Time for something nice

Time to come in
And take off the wet clothes
Sit at the table
For a cup of warm cocoa

So next time it snows
And you want to have fun
Just get on your snow gear
And join in the fun
