Neath Spirit's Gaze

by Laura Lamarca   Oct 14, 2007

Whispers swish to sway
and melt, as pain rescinds
in rarity's rasp and
hands grasp nothingness
'neath spirit's gaze, as
essence envelopes each
memory passed

and glass reflects such
crystal care in comfort
stares of solitude.

Embracing the day on
whims' short ways,
displays lost dreams
of yesterdays.

Cold breezes blow
words once uttered, in
fluttered heart
of feelings, emotions

spousal devotion returns
to haunt on fingers
burnt through
passion's taunts.

Remembrance curls in
clouds of breath
as death shares wares,
unfurls aloud

to shroud this soul
in solace sinned, as
voices carry me...

in the wind.
