Sunrise, Sunset

by Madeline   Oct 14, 2007

A sunrise
A sunset
A day is done
A new moon born
Angels sing
Through the sharp fall wind
Cold waves crash
Against my skin
Rocks are beaten
Molded by touch
The soft autumn colors
Bursting forward
A world that's changing
A life that's moving
A heart that's yearning
A flame that's burning
The air is changing
Becoming crips and harsh
I'm cold and longing
For another's warmth
And all this happens
With a sunrise
A sunset.
