Baby Girl

by Medusa   Oct 15, 2007

Oh my dear baby girl, wipe away your tears.
Tell me what is wrong, tell me all your fears.
No need to worry, I will protect you.
You are my life, I will always love you.
You are so young and fragile,
just an innocent child.
I fear what will be exposed to you,
for the world can be so wild.
Yet I will show you the beauty,
in this amazing world around you.
From the starry nights above,
to the bottom of the ocean so blue.
When you think your all grown up,
ready to face the world head on.
I will always be right behind you,
when you need me as your life goes on.

2000

To my baby girl, Savannah.
You are the light of my life,
the very depth of my soul,
I am your strength when your weak,
the gentle breeze when you fly.
I love you.
