Sleepless Nights

Lying awake on sleepless nights,
Wishing time would go faster,
A wakened by the grumbling,
Grumbling of the thunder,
Is all that is heard,
Then I get to thinking,
Thinking about the best thing that ever happened to me,
That one thing isn't just something,
Such a wonderful person,
The wonderful person that I love,
And my love for him never fails,
I see his smile and I fall,
Fall for him over and over again.
