My Dreams Of You

When I look out the window,
I see your face.
I travel the world, searching
From place to place.

When I see you all my troubles
Seem to fade away.
When I notice you looking at me,
I start to sway.

When I wake up in the morning,
My first thoughts are of you.
I close my eyes and picture your perfect face,
Sweet as dew.

When I think of you,
Everything in the world seems okay.
I wish we could be together,
And just run away.

My mom telling me to get up,
Brings me to reality.
I ask her for five more minutes,
She says no.

As I get up, the phone rings, and I answer it.
“Hello?” I say.
On the other end I hear your voice
And that alone, just made my day.
