One Day is Enough

Why does the key word in every song have to be 'love'?
Even so, that's OK! That's OK! That's OK!
Why did I never think of what lay behind the pen.
Something tells me a love so strong was blooming there.

I guess I understand now, more than ever.
I'll laugh at myself the day after tomorrow.
You could say I've been struck by reality.
I really care this time around!

And even along the darkest paths we take,
I'll be standing there right by your side.
This is not my character!
Love makes me do these crazy things.
And maybe when tomorrow comes,
I'll be right back to normal,
But that's OK.
