Where Does It All Go?

by Brian Hwang   Oct 18, 2007

Where does it all go?
All that haze and mist,
That web that is my desire,
How does it persist?

Lavishly, it breathes you in deep...drowns in your scents;
It screams for your stares, and tastes all your salts,
Presses against you...and presses in,
Presses and penetrates...
Deep...deeper...but never quite deep enough...

Where does it all go?
If it never gets cradled, never gets in;
Wild as it is, endless and bounding,
It remains an animal of lips and skin,

It hunts and it howls...scratches and bites,
Desires to leave marks and desires to be marked,
Tries to get tangled in your fishnets..lost in your dress;
Pulling on fistfuls of hair, it begs to be tamed,
Begs for charms and seductions and promises kept.

So where does it all go?
All that energy, sensation and sweat?
As beauty wakes and beauty sleeps,
It sits, not so idly by, as beauty's pet.
