Sunbeams

by Evan   Oct 20, 2007

Shining through the clouds,
their light diminishing darkness.
An aid to those who cannot see the truth.
The three hundred Spartans fighting,
Fighting the Dark's metaphoric Persians.
Sunbeams glistening bright.
When darkness prevails,
sunbeams come to finish the fight.
They grow larger until the darkness has receded.
With no fear of death,
for they cannot be destroyed.
With a force stronger than that of men,
though as peaceful as the monks of the Himalayas.
Indestructible,
yet easily reflected.
With no anger, it stays serene.
Let it be a representation,
of God's intent of life.
