Secret Wish

by Lamour   Oct 22, 2007

Was I in the wrong?
Or was it only an excuse?
Your like this breath of air,
That is helping me to live.

The soothing smile,
The serenity in your eyes,
The sound of laughters,
Amidst its calming effects.

I can't believe this is the end.
I can't believe your letting go.
I know what your saying,
I don't need your reasons,
Don't tell me because it hurts.

The sorrow and agony,
Like a knife stabbed deep.
No questions, no demands
Just a diminished finality.

I don't need you to explain.
I don't need you to feel sorry.
Now, I would like to apologize to you.
It was a mistake on my part, my mistake.
I should not have even hoped.
Should not even reminisce.

Day by day,
Thoughts of you fill the void of my emptiness.
Day by day,
I wonder if you ever think of me anymore.

Come close, let me tell you this,
In a whisper, my heart says you know it too,
Maybe we both share a secret wish,
And you're feeling my love reaching out to you.
