I'm so sorry I'm doing this, this isn't how it was supposed to be.
Please don't ask me what you did wrong, It isn't you its me.

I hope that you don't hate me, I wouldn't blame you if you do.
I'm only trying to do what is best not just for me, but also for you.

I don't regret a single minute of the time we have shared, and I swear to you I wasn't lying all those times i said i cared.

I want to make you feel better but I don't know what to do.
Every time I say a kind word or give you a hug i bring false hope to you.

You are the father of my children, you have been my husband and a friend but I know if we were to stay together I would hurt you in the end.

I'm doing this for the right reasons, I hope one day when all the hurt is gone, You will look back and realize why I have done what I have done.
