Before I'm Old

by LilStevi   Oct 22, 2007

If I die before I'm old,
Will you remember me?
If you do remember me,
What will you remember most?
How about my laughter and smiles,
Or the look in my eyes?
Can you remember the words that I said?
Would you recognize the thoughts in my head?
I don't think so,
And so you know why?
Because you don't listen,
No matter what I try.
I can weep and snivel,
And you avoid my eyes.
I can yell and scream,
And you just turn away.
I throw myself on you,
And we just fall back into bed.
I have one more trick,
But before I use it.
I need to know,
If I die before I'm old.
Will you remember me?
