Guidelines to my heart

by Maren L Johnson   Oct 22, 2007

Write your words on the deep ends of the fire of my heart and watch as it burns them away casting them into the safekeeping of my soul.

Scream my name if not in ecstasy in deep concentration. You will cry out and I will understand because only I can grasp the true meaning.

Don't make promises at all; just do and I'll decipher, interpret and embrace.

Live in the moment of the moment and casually visit the haven of mystery. Keep me alive in my quest. The usual is monotonous and is a constant bother to the vibe of my soul.

Fiction grabs my attention but the control in reality holds me and calms my fears. Be true to yourself so you can be true to me.

I need your smile to fuel my life and send me floating in the soft mist of our time.

While I do enjoy the fairy tales I wince at the idea of being a mere figment of your imagination. I'm your billboard.

Do you fear recognition of our love? Do you fear recognition of me? I will remain me forever; fear not recognition of the facts because I am a gift in and out of wrapping paper.

I am deep in my thoughts and intelligence has established permanent residency in the intricacies of my mind. My figure leaves room for no dispute or disapproval; I am to be your only.

Deep personality is far more than the riches offered but I need you to have purpose so the world can see the man I want to be one in me.

Cliche is far removed;
Steal my heart if you must but if you cannot stand the rain that pours in attempt to quench my fire,
Leave my heart in its hiding place.
