The Stroke of Nature

by Anthony   Oct 23, 2007

I walk across the park with my head held up high
While gazing upon the noon sky
I put my hand upon the tree branch
How it reminds me of my primitive way
The stroke of nature is especially beautiful this day

I kneel upon the grass
Taking a thread of which belongs to earth
I wonder if people understand how much its worth
Now I lay upon the grass
With the stroke of nature time shall pass

As I walk to the river
I put my hand in it to get that feeling
That prompts my mind to that day she left
I sat on that faithful rock when
The stroke of nature hit five O clock

How I wish I could say
I fail to remember her name
Say I saw that show he went in flame
But the human mind remembers all and
The stroke of nature is always in fall

I walk home tripping upon the curb
Seeing a leaf it reminds me how nature is superb
I shake to compose myself back to whole
To continue my stroll
The Stroke of nature rules all
