Heaven

by RaspberryPoetic   Oct 25, 2007

A dream,
A prayer,
Listened to,
A love, epitomized

All angels clamour,
Reading such emotion
Some of them cry,
The skies fall asunder

Again, a dream
A prayer,
And a song,
Still, no one would listen

The tears of the heavens,
Bear down upon the earth
One looks at the distant horizon
All is rain that falls upon the earth

You cry,
For one last time
Clutching in your hands,
A letter from the past

The winds blow over,
They carry it away.
You stand there as you watch
The love of your life, just slip away

Someone hears your cries,
He grieves for your loss
For it was He who took,
The life of your love away

With a hand of swift grace,
He places the sky into a paradise
Just for your eyes,
To witness something never seen

The clouds dance,
The stars start to fall
The world around you shakes
The end simply draws near

And Heaven spills over,
all joys are found
Yet, you still cant find her
Not even in the glory of the skies.
