My Peaceful Place

I try to find a peaceful path
A path I'll never leave
But when I'm on it never lasts
Its gone away from me

I try to chase on after it
To regain happiness
But then I fall into a pit
To find I sleep and rest

Waking up I'm in a place
A place I've never been
To discover I'm in space
I feel lost again

Now searching for a place I find
I'm back to where I start
Feeling like giving up in mind
But still following my heart

Now I find I'm with family and friends
I find I can finally quit
It doesn't matter where you are in the end
Its that people that you're with
