Crushed Words

From whence these feelings came unto me
I promised that them I would hide,
yet smiles sweep by in their girly crush
tell me to reach and make you see.

Bound by these chains I long to be free
to express emotions inside,
yet eyes deceive in their childish blush,
force me to face reality.

Love offers promise without a fee
with goodness and cheer to abide,
words of wonder trapped in secret's hush
with future of worth to foresee.
