The Emptiness

by Luke W   Oct 29, 2007

There was always that emptiness stuck in my head
When I see that ribbon waiting just up ahead
It's colorful shine keeps starring perfectly straight
Making me oblivious and late to a date

I could feel it, that emptiness was getting filled
That bright light, leading the way on that perfect day
Making certainty that you lived another day.
That one little push is all that I desire

That one person, waving her arms, calling my name
Knowing that life is not just some asinine game
That light knows that i'm not just a piece of lead
The emptiness in my head, is now deserted

    Absolutly amazing.
    Kinda' out there.
    But amazing.
    And.
I think that even though it might not seem exaclty to me, what it does to you, it still was something. and it really talked.
