Inside Your Little World

by longings   Oct 29, 2007

I've held you in my arms.
Tasted your sweet kiss.
I've loved you from the beginning of time.
I've wanted you by my side.
I've wanted to comfort you,
Hold you close.
But you would never let me in.
Inside your little world.
That's where I wanted to be.
To have you tell me of all you had seen.
Had done.
Had wished to be.
But you never let me in.
Inside your little world.
Was, is there no room for me?
You can't tell me I didn't give you pleasure.
The bed we shared knows different.
You can't tell me I didn't love you enough.
I would lay my life at your feet.
If I, with all my love for you can't get in.
No one can get in.
Inside your little world.
