A Star at Night

by graydon   Oct 30, 2007

Like a star at night she catches my sight.
She brings the light into my night.
Riding under my radar, I'm caught without a fight.
Afraid of being hurt, I try to deny this light.
But now my heart betrays my fright.
For now my dreams have started to take flight.
I just can't deny, my heart feels so right.
But how do I catch the one that's brought about my plight?
I know that even if it ends with blight.
I must try to catch that shooting star that burns so bright.
