Gripping soul and ripping from body, firm
peeling apart tissue attached
scraping fingernails, irking and jerking
shiver creeping up spines, ill-dispatched

cradling snapped neck, palms of cold hands
icy stiff, rigid motherless silhouette
spindle-stone concrete, crackling scarecrow
arching above bridge, underworld met

frail wings, fallen angels, skewed and bent
tumble from stonehenge, leering claw
piercing thin ambiance, eternalizing
crooked fingerwebs, flaring ember saw
