Lake Butte Des Morts

by Sarah   Nov 1, 2007

On top a dock
unraveled rope
under skies
upon willows
follow the lines
aside the shore
of Lake Butte Des Morts.
Over the water
inside sparkling lines
along side a boat
underneath a splash
near by, a fish
under the waves
of waving hands
to the fisher men
on top an old bridge
in a canal
full of lilies
and bull fogs
aboard the dock
aside the shore
rewind rope
over the water
on a poll
left alone
along side of nothing
but sparkling waves
of Lake Butte Des Morts.
