Forbidden Love

by oddi tea   Nov 3, 2007

You were the dark
That shimmered and swayed
But my love for you
Always has stayed

I am the light
I turn night to day
Your soul, so dark
The light must stay

That fateful meadow
On that one special night
The morning fought
Against the darkness sight

She saw him leave
In the leaves above head
Her passion beyond
Led her instead

They began in hate
When they suddenly cursed
The fight was suddenly
left with a thirst

It was forbidden
They knew the rules
But to leave him
Would name her among fools

She couldn't stay away
The dark was too perfect
She was left named
As his personal addict

She just couldn't stop
His touch was all her own
But there was no love
Of their families shown

You see it was forbidden
For love like their's
The punishment was of death
My forbidden love, like anyone cares

Perfect does not rhyme with addict, nevertheless, this poems similar to mine, 'fruitless love'- at least the context is anyway
