The Kiss of Life

by Paula Lowther   Nov 3, 2007

The first kiss was incredible,
Beautifully made by two people in love.
We connected like clashing waves,
after wards we gave out a gaze.

The second kiss was expected,
but more tender with less tension.
Two of us in love holding tight with one another.
This relationship was intended.

The third kiss came so naturally,
we barely closed our eyes.
As if it happened everyday,
Still in love and here to stay.

The forth day came a sad goodbye,
Him leaving forced my eyes to cry.
Id never felt this much hurt...
All these kisses have passed I know it will last!
Love is still there and we have a past.

(This poem I wrote when my boyfriend Leon had to leave where we lived to going to university somewhere else... When he left I thought of this poem.
I love you Leon! Please come back. xxx)
