I got you call

by kelly   Nov 3, 2007

At last I heard your voice
I heard it far away though a touch-tone phone
after about 365 days
since our last union there
when I heard your voice
on the very day I got your call
I remained not the same in my mind
In my body and in my spirit
delight that surpasses all wisdom arrested me
since I got your call
prompt response remain a vital case
though my time is tight
and my purse is parched
Ive got to answer the call of yours by all means
I cant fade in my mind so soon
melody that sweetly played in tune
that my love for you
until the ocean runs dry
and the sun melts the rocks
i will love you
because you are far away
I will pen some words
to tell you I want to be near you
and I want to make sure
you're still there and you hear
subsequently, i get your call
I will come again
though ten thousand were far apart
no matter how far away
you're right here next to me
... once i got your call
