My Dearest Friend,

You say you do not understand yourself anymore.
You are being haunted by the decisions of your past.
So am I.
Trying hard to forget.
It does not work for me,
it will not work for you.

I know the awful secret you keep from other friends.
Do not feel bad.
It is a scary thing to tell those you care about something awful you have done.
They will not hate you.
Try not to be afraid.

You want to scream?
Scream out loud!
Do anything to help your broken heart I say.

Your friend betrayed you,
you think you have hurt your mom.
Listen to me my friend.
It is not your fault.

Do not worry about guys.
Forget about dating.
You are far better then what any guy can give.
You are precious and rare.
No one is good enough for you I say.
Let your broken heart heal.

Do not worry.
I will always be here for you.
I will back you up and stand by your side.
I will always love you.
You are my best friend.

I wish you had not cut yourself.
I wish we could go back.
I wish this was not so ugly.
I wish I could change the past.
