Foolish heart

by Poem lover   Nov 7, 2007

How many times have you lied to me?
How many times have you laughed behind my back?
How many times have you neglected me?
And had you ignored me?
And every time you do this
It takes a pinch of my dignity
A stamp on my ego
And a stab on my weak heart
I wanna feel rage and anger
After all the things you put me through,
But despite the pain, insults and doubts,
Instead of cursing you
I even loved you unconditionally
What a foolish heart that i have.

Such a wonderul poem from a rookie. i think you should eat all the books in the poem library. Actually, you haven't reached the standards at all. But i am sure many nursery students would like this for nursery rhymes.

Aw. This was terribly sad. Touched me deep. I felt the pain in the poem. 5/5
