Lovesick

She slips into his arms

Now she knows she is safe

His arms do not cling onto her like they always do

She looks up into his facem

His eyes are cold and his face stays blank

A bitter tear falls on to her cheek

She opens her mouth but the words stay locked up

He finally looks down into her eyes

"Nothing"

She pulls away uncertainly and watches as he drags his shadow away with him

She can taste his tear now it has rolled down her cheek
