You Killed Me With A Fantasy

by Hoover   Nov 11, 2007

Autumns coming fast
And the leaves are changing gold.
You'll be getting married soon
Through the vile will be a different groom

Wishing it was me giving you that eternal ring
But only friends is what you see
In these tainted eyes that belong to me.

Eyes once blue with love so new
Faded gray when you told him "I Do"

Things never got old by your side
Our love was growing each dawning day.
Up until your heart decided,
That here with me it couldn't stay.

You killed me with a fantasy
That clearly wouldn't ever be.
Devoured in a fuzzy dream;
So False, I should've seen.

I treated love so carelessly
And let it slip away.
For that mistake I shall forever
Drown in my own misery.

Very hurtful picture was drawn here. you described how you were hurt in very uniqe way. this poem shows sorrow, pain and love at the same time.

don't give up, your real soul mate must be waiting for you to find her
