Nothing's Changed

by Oracle   Nov 14, 2007

Enigmas can surround us,
even in the clearest of all days,
under the new moon.

A light breeze of change,
it can wash over us,
freezing in time all that we know.

The pinnacle,
the moment we strive for,
when your smile is merely all we need...

The sailing ship's nostalgia,
the blossoming rose's predictions,
the withering of youth in this earth...

You are getting older,
i still remember the pleasant flashes of days that once were,
and we both are still here...

From the depths of all that is heavenly,
from the heights of all that is the ends of the earth,
I kindly wish you a happy birthday...

Know that you will never stray from memories nor heart, my friend.

    Amazing. :)
    "The sailing ship's nostalgia,
    the blossoming rose's predictions,
the withering of youth in this earth..."
I like that part!! It's... unique, I like the second line. :) Roses are my favorite, I like white ones best, LOL. :) 5/5
