Goodbye.

She smashed the rear view mirror

vowing never to look back

she tried but she could

never seem to get her life on track

so she smiled and looked away

she wouldn't be back again

she'd leave her tears behind

all she'd bring was one true friend

so one last tear was shed

as she slowly walked away

forgetting her last words

and what she had done that day

she left him all alone

she left him in the dark

she left cause she was broken

because he had broke her heart

he never saw it coming

so he couldn't ask her why

all she left him was a letter

and the letter said goodbye
