What is it Inside of Me

This thing staring at me
Of dispair and hopelessness
It's heart a void of ebony
It's soul a desolant mist

Afraid I shut my eyes
Curious I open and realize what I see
A dirty mirror of dust and lies
And a boy that looks just like me
