Tonight....

by the pale queen of the silent night   Nov 22, 2007

If crying would ease the pain
then you are wrong.
if praying would comfort thee
then god surely is def tonight.
if your absence would make thee forge you
then my love, you know not thee at all.

i cannot and will not be able to forget thee
because every time I close thy eyes
its you I see
so my love have pity for the sake of love.

My eyes are weary and restless
as those monstrous ravaging wave of ocean never ceasing
in its anger, yet helpless.
My heart is a volcano of despair
humble, craving help of you.
what art, magic should I use to make thee see
how my love for thee is
so stainless, constant, loyal and upright.
I know my truthful pleadings will not cause you
rue the differences you critically portray.

I know when I shall come with despair
with streaming tears, fallen from my fountain eyes
breathing forth sighs of most heart breaking
might
my tears, my sighs, and me, you will contradict and despise
I know the vigor that in me lies
and all the prayers and vows that I may make
will not move thou
or make thou accept thy differences.

what a desolation I have befallen
that now thou denies his company.
dying in life, and living still in death
and yet will not die, nor forget thou.
