If only it didn't matter
the long miles in between
this thought only makes me sadder
i just can't help think of the scene

Yet the more we talk
the more my heart begins to fall
I want your hand in mine, as we both begin to walk
but for now, all I'm able to do is call

if only it didn't matter
and feelings weren't in the way
with hearts whole unshattered
we'd be seeing each other every day
