Of the Bird that Loved the Fish

by Lost Angel   Nov 24, 2007

In the background a bird would sing as it fell
Plunging downwards it would take its last song
And give it to the night it craves the stars to see
To make use of the unattainable love he breathed

Air was not his subsidence but rather the untameable,
Wind that raised him to heights beyond any measurement
Seeking to find solace in an enchantment known only to his heart
Wondering how to live now heâ??d fallen in love with impossibility

No answers came to him; there was just no way to live
A bird should not love a sea creature and yet he did
And so plunging downwards the sea with his last love song
He took one sigh of relief as for one moment they could be
