One big mistake

My heart sits dark and cold.
It will never be the same.
When we were together it was gold.
But for this i have me to blame.

I Did the worst thing i could've done.
I know that now that its to late.
You'll never no how sorry i am hun.
I'm sure you were my soul mate.

Not now though.
I made a HUGE mistake.
That I'm sure you know.
What i did makes my heart ache.

Not only did i cheat...
But i did something very bad.
I will never again feel complete.
Please don't feel sad.

You deserve better than me.
That i know for a fact.
I'm sure at this point you agree.
Because i know i couldn't have made an impact.

Please forgive me though.
Because i still do love you.
I guess it was just something hard to show.
Next time i promise it will be anew.
