My heart is like a book
Don't judge me by my cover
But open me up and take a look
And see what you discover

My cover may be torn and bent
My pages slightly folded
But my words are from Heaven sent
And my message still is golden

The secrets that lie within me
Will be there to the end
No amount of battery
Will force me to descend
