Sights and Sounds

by Bogie   Dec 2, 2007

The sun rising lights the way,
sights and sounds forever play.

Steady pounding ocean waves,
a beating bass drum enslaves.

Leafs fluttering do combine,
cymbals ringing all in time.

River rage through harmony,
trumpets blow in symphony.

Motionless humming bird flies,
a peaceful voice singing sighs.

The rhytm sometimes stops it from reading easily ,and "thru" should have been written "through"
apart from the critics : the rhyming did work quite well on this poem , and the fact that all sentences were equally -7 stllables- long, made it an enjoyable read
    good poem :)
    keep it up
