Never said goodbye...

by cassanova   Dec 14, 2007

There's a smooth shimmer of ripples,
while the sun sets over a pond,
two love birds skipping rocks,
on a journey building there bond,

they'll be together forever,
is what everyone said,
or at least till the day,
that god forbid ones dead,

they had two kids,
one boy and one girl,
you could see truly,
that they were their world,

they went day by day,
together at hand,
just not knowing,
what god had planned,

happy as can be,
thats how they were,
till that day,
that was all a blur,

she got a call,
heard he was hurt,
she hung up the phone,
and went bizzerk,

she grabbed her keys,
and started her drive,
preying with her heart,
that he survives,

the next morning he wakes up,
with his father by his side,
while holding his hand tightly,
could tell there was something to hide,

he asked what is wrong,
his father blinked out a tear,
then came something,
he did not want to hear,

she was on her way to see you,
and was driving to fast,
i am so sorry son,
before you awoke she passed....
