Homecoming

by Toni   Dec 16, 2007

They both show up with different dates,
but he's not the one that she hates.

It's all her fault and she knows it too,
but she doesnt know what to do.

Their song comes on and she looses control,
she runs to the bathroom but her knife is dull.

As she wipes away the flowing tears,
she prays to God that no-one hears.

Beautiful and powerful. Those are the two words I would use to describe this amazing poem. It was so sad and intense. I can somewhat relate to it which makes me love it even more. You did an amazing job, this is honestly a lost love poem. 5/5 <3 <3 <3
