Hes not like the rest

It seems like whenever everything seems to be going right
something happens and makes it all wrong

I finally found somebody new who is different than any other guy
He gives me tha happiness that money cannot buy

I told him exactly how i felt and did not leave anything out
But his response made me want to scream and shout

He says he doesnt mean to keep me waiting but more time is best
He is definetly not like the rest

Im used to relationships getting rushed into
But i guess spending more time together is the best thing to do

Our lives are so different yet they are the same
My life compared to his just seems so lame

I like the things i do while im with him and his friends
Its like my normal life expands and bends

All i can do is hope that someday i will be able to call him mine
But if i dont i will have to make like im fine
