The Main Course Has Arrived

by Sorefromreality   Dec 17, 2007

For dinner tonight, you'll eat your own words.
Feast upon your ignorance,
I'll watch you masticate the lies.

You spoke the essence of deceit. But now you'll see
my strength.
I'll watch as you eat your own hateful words.

"Never will I love again, and never will I forget you."

You have put those words in my mouth,
those thoughts in my head.

But now I know you were wrong,
So here's a toast to you:

Eat your words.
Enjoy your dinner.

A-mazing. Short, bitter and to the point. Your vocab here is excellent and I love how you wrote this, with such sarcasm and bitterness encased in your words. I can relate very closely to this, so I can understand the emotion behind it. A very strong piece, with a bite at the end, well done. 5/5

    Tammie. :]
