Remedy to my being

by Sinah Motshegwa   Dec 19, 2007

When the sun goes down
And I`m all alone
Lying on my bed
Holding my pillow tight

Wishing on the stars
To give me a twinkle of compassion
Wishing on the moon
To delightfully glow my darkness
Wishing on the night
To be a long silent night

When the sun rise
The melody of the birds outside
One sounding like it`s calling my name
The cool breeze through my window
Refreshing my soul
The peace and quietness outside

Inside I`m never alone
My heart and soul are never alone
Nature is there to keep me going
Silently soothing the inner me
The best remedy for my soul

Looking outside
I smiled at nature
As it nonchalantly smiled back at me.
