Winterwoods

by craig   Dec 19, 2007

The sun was shining that day.
The day i went down and peered upon a star.
I lay by the rambling river.
Napped among the winter woods,
but a star awoke me.
Bristling through.
exploding and setting the auburn trees alight.
it awoke me, awoke senses.
The swans of the beauteous stream looked upon you with awe and delight.
mundane floating, succumbing too a fiery glare.
in a white skin you floated.
Too me you where akin, i remember and eternally noted girl too be, heaven too me,
But i still cant believe that day was true!.
i had been black, blue you set my heart a new.
soft skin a gentle smile i had too stare a while, honey glowing radiance, that was your hair.
and there was me a beating pink heart laid on the floor for all the animals, trees and you too see.
And as i awake now i look over and tears fall, because everything was only a dream after all
