The Unbreakable Girl

by Taylor   Dec 19, 2007

She has brown eyes and has long dirty blond hair
She's the 5 foot 5 girl who can live without a care
She keeps a smile on her face when she walks around
And she'll laugh at herself when she trips and hits the ground
She's the kind of girl that any guy would want
She knows how to make fun of herself, without having to flaunt
Her pride is strong and so is her will
But she'd be dead if words could kill
On the outside she is stronger than Superman
But on the inside she is fragile but does what she can
She helps people with her care, and nurses them back to joy
But the boy plays around like she's his toy
He sends her mixed signals, some good and some bad
And this is the worst experience she's ever had
One minute she thinks he loves her, another she doesn't
She looks around and never sees "The One", but she knows he wasn't
When she's under the weather, she'll still smile
But she gets so tired after a while
When she needed help, he lent a hand
Now he's changed and no one can understand
What happened between the two, they used to be inseparable
She's happy on the outside, but inside she's miserable
She's been hurt many times, but it's never bothered her
But she misses the way things between them were
All she wants is for him to know her again
She wants to be able to smile when she says he's her friend
But no one can ever match every single word he spoke
It's unbelievable, The Unbreakable Girl, finally broke
